Extreme productivity The Modulo 120SF is not only the fastest SF laminator with a top speed of 125 m/min with standard film but also a very productive thermal / dry laminator reaching 100 m/min with thermal films. Its productivity is further enhanced by the availability of a Non Stop feeder and a Non Stop stacker as well as the use of higher pallets (up to 1600 mm high). The large diameter film rolls, the automatic cleaning system help reduce make readies to a minimum. Thanks to the very short distance between the adhesive unit and the application calander, the Modulo 120SF can use very reactive adhesives. This helps reach higher quality levels and use substrates otherwise impossible to laminate with SF adhesives. Our cleaning system includes not only brushes and a cleaning calander but also a special dampening cleaning system which makes it possible to work with SF adhesive on substrates where machines from our competitors can not provide acceptable quality. This system has also a positive effect on the curing speed. High flexibility The Modulo 120SF can process all types of film such as OPP, PET, thermal, acetate, PE, PLA, ... with a wide range of thicknesses. It is equally at ease with gloss, matt, colored, metalized or holographic films. Its effective cleaning systems give MODULO SF users an advantage against competition by making it possible to work with SF adhesive on most kinds of substrates. The Modulo 120SF can of course be fitted with a very productive, Laser guided Hot Knife for separation of metalized or structured films.
